Resize & Reframe adapts an image to the aspect ratio a platform expects. It changes the shape of the frame while keeping your subject where it belongs.
What it does
You pick a target aspect ratio, such as 9:16 for vertical feeds, 1:1 for square posts, or 16:9 for wide formats, and Krex AI reframes the image to match. The subject stays in view so you don't end up with a cut-off product or a centered crop that loses the point of the shot. It's the quick way to repurpose one image across platforms.
How to use it
- Open Resize & Reframe and upload the image you want to adapt.
- Choose a target aspect ratio: 9:16, 1:1, or 16:9.
- Confirm the subject stays in frame in the preview.
- Adjust the framing if you want the subject positioned differently.
- Save the reframed image and repeat for any other ratios you need.
Tips
- Reframe a single source image into all three ratios to cover every platform at once.
- Check the preview before saving so the subject isn't clipped at the edges.
- If reframing would crop too tightly, use AI Expand (Outpaint) to add room instead.
- Reframe after staging so your finished scene is sized for each destination.
