Timeline Editor

Arrange clips, images, and audio on a timeline for finer control — trim, sequence, and layer elements into the final cut.

The Timeline Editor gives you hands-on control over the final cut. Instead of stitching clips in a fixed order, you arrange video, images, and audio on a timeline and shape exactly how the piece plays.

What it does

It lays your media out on a timeline so you can trim clips, set their sequence, and layer elements together. Drop in video, images, and audio, then adjust where each one starts and how long it runs. Use it when a straight concatenation isn't enough and you need to control pacing, overlays, and timing for a polished result.

How to use it

  1. Open the Editing tools and pick Timeline Editor.
  2. Add your clips, images, and audio to the timeline.
  3. Drag elements to set their order and position.
  4. Trim each clip to the length you want.
  5. Layer images or audio over the video where needed.
  6. Preview the cut, then export the finished video.

Tips

  • Trim dead air at the start and end of clips to keep the pace tight.
  • Layer a music or voiceover track to carry the edit across cuts.
  • Place text or product images as overlays at the moments they matter most.
  • Preview often as you go — small timing changes add up across the cut.
