Watermark Cleanup removes a static watermark or logo from a video so the footage reads clean. Use it when a clip has a fixed overlay you want gone before reusing it in your own edit.
What it does
It targets a static watermark or logo sitting in a fixed spot on the frame and removes it, leaving the underlying footage clean. The result is a version you can reuse without the original mark distracting from your message or clashing with your brand. It works best on overlays that stay in one place throughout the clip.
How to use it
- Open the Editing tools and pick Watermark Cleanup.
- Upload the video that has the watermark you want gone.
- Indicate where the watermark sits on the frame.
- Run the cleanup and wait for the processed video.
- Review the result to confirm the area looks clean.
- Download the cleaned video, or send it on to another tool.
Tips
- Works best on a static mark that stays in the same spot for the whole clip.
- Only reuse footage you have the rights to — cleanup is for your own content.
- Check the cleaned area against a few frames to confirm nothing looks smeared.
- Run it before adding your own logo so your brand mark sits on a clean frame.
